In January 2021, the Ibaraki Business Office obtained the license for establishing mixing emulsion and oil/water separation facilities and the license for neutralization facility alteration from Ibaraki Prefecture Waste Management Division. As a result, commencement for the facility's construction was approved.
　After an accident in 2017, the number of storage tanks was changed from four to two. The construction will bring this number back to four and return the tanks to their previous state.   
　Construction will start on February 3, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of August, 2021.
