Antifreeze / Brine

Shadan BE/BP

Shadan is a cold heat medium based on ethylene glycol and propylene glycol with antifreeze effects. It can be used over a wide temperature range of from -40℃ to 100℃. In addition, it also contains anticorrosive agents that are effective on various metals, so it demonstrates excellent anticorrosion effects on the metals that constitute systems (iron, aluminum, zinc, copper, brass, solder, etc.). It does not affect nonmetallic materials (rubber, plastic, and sealing materials).

Difference between purposes of corrosion inhibiting and corrosion removing agents

Corrosion removing agents are effective on rust generated inside the equipment's piping. After removing rust with a corrosion removing agent, wash the equipment with water. Using a cooling and heating medium with a corrosion inhibiting agent will help reduce the amount of maintenance for the equipment and extend the equipment's lifespan, reducing costs as a result.

Corrosion removing agents Chemicals that inhibit the generation of metal rust. Rust is generated by water and oxygen reacting on iron. A corrosion inhibiting agent inhibits this reaction and prevents rust from forming.
Corrosion inhibiting agents Chemicals that remove rust. The chemicals remove rust by making the water-insoluble iron oxide (rust) water-soluble state.

Environmentally friendly ethanol brine (Three Brine BA)

It can be used in a low temperature range (-30°C to -45°C), which the PG brine (propylene glycol based) used in food plants, etc., cannot handle. Viscosity in a low temperature range is significantly lower than that of PG brine, which contributes to energy conservation.
